Pumpkin Patch

Last Sunday, we headed over the Hodges Farm to visit the pumpkin patch. It's very close to our house and admission is free with options to participate in various activities at a small cost. We took A on a hayride which she loved, but the highlight for some strange reason was her instant connection to a goat that she stared at for almost 20 minutes. Anyway... we'd hoped to make it to Patterson's Farm but the hours at Hodges allow for a quick trip AFTER a long afternoon nap. At which point the late afternoon light made for some fun colorful pictures.

This sight had to make my Grandpa smile.

Men Toddlers Who Stare at Goats

My cup runneth over for this one

Show off.

Sharon, Amy, or some other brilliant soul... Can you please teach me how to make the sun rays make even whiney children look like angels?

The Keeper. Disclaimer: this little pipsqueak (the pumpkin, not my child) was $6 with free admission. Admission is also free at Aldi where I picked up 2 $2.47 monsters)
